Mother

Diane Howe
"Mother" began playing paintball in 1987 at a company team-building day out. She soon became a member of one of the first scenario teams in the country - Marion's Raiders, whose home field was the Survival Zone in Ocala, FL. Team members included Wayne Dollack and Kerry "Viper" Rosenberry. The team disbanded when the field closed in 1994. Diane was a referee for the Florida State Paintball Regionals in 1990 and the Florida State Paintball Finals in 1991; she was a member of the International Paintball Players Association, and contributed scenario game write-ups and articles to Paintball News. She was the first female player to command 24-hour scenario games ("Odessa Quest" 1993; The Janus Project" 1994; "Final Conflict" 1995). She also received 3 Most Valuable Player and 3 Sportsmanship awards during this time. Diane joined Team Blitzkrieg in 1997. She was a field commander for William Shatner's Magnificent 7 in 2002.
